Building on the vision of Global Eden Farms initiatives, the Canadian Greenhouse Project represents the next evolution of sustainable food production.
Located in the Niagara Region of Ontario, this project is designed to demonstrate how renewable energy and controlled-environment agriculture can work together to produce fresh, healthy food throughout the year, even in Canada's challenging climate.
The project will showcase advanced greenhouse technologies powered by renewable energy systems while
incorporating intelligent climate control, water conservation, precision irrigation and environmentally responsible growing practices. More than simply producing vegetables, the project will serve as a practical demonstration facility for communities, investors, agricultural organizations, researchers and commercial growers interested in the future of sustainable food production.
